Office of the District and Session Judge, Nalbari has recently released an official notification regarding the recruitment of Peon and Driver. Candidates satisfying all the required eligibility criteria are able to submit their application in the prescribed application format.
Nalbari Recruitment Details
1. Peon
No of Posts: 06 Posts
- Unreserved: 04 Posts
- OBC/MOBC: 02 Posts
Educational Qualification: Candidates must need to be class 8th passed or equivalent from a recognized Board. HSSLC or above passed candidates will be ineligible to apply.
Pay Scale: Pay Band-2, Rs.12,000 – 37,500/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.3,900/-
2. Driver
No of Posts: 01 Post (Unreserved)
Educational Qualification: Candidates must need to be class 8th passed or equivalent from a recognized Board. HSSLC or above passed candidates will be ineligible to apply. Also, candidates must hold valid professional driving license to drive LMV/ four wheeler vehicles for not less than last 5 years.
Pay Scale: Pay Band-2, Rs.14,000 – 49,000/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.5,200/-
3. Driver (On Contingent Basis)
No of Posts: 01 Post (Unreserved)
Educational Qualification: Candidates must need to be class 8th passed or equivalent from a recognized Board. HSSLC or above passed candidates will be ineligible to apply. Also, candidates must hold valid professional driving license to drive LMV/ four wheeler vehicles for not less than last 5 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.15,000/- (Fixed)
Other Details of Nalbari Recruitment
Age Limit: The candidates age should be between 18 years to 38 years.
Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation will be as per government rules.
Employment Exchange Registration: The candidate must have registered their names in employment exchange and valid registration number along-with the date must be mentioned in their application.

Selection Process of Nalbari Recruitment
The selection process for this recruitment is different for both the posts. The post wise selection process is described below and our visitors are suggested to check the official notification for the same.
Peon
Written Test: Candidates whose applications will be accepted will be called for written test. The details of the written examination will be as follows-
- Total Marks: 50 Marks
- Total Questions: 50 Questions
- Qualifying Marks: 60% (50% in each subjects)
Written Test Syllabus: The syllabus for the written examination for the post of Peon will be as follows-

Viva-Voce: 3 candidates for each post will be called for Viva-Voce Test. Shortlisting will be according to the performance in the written test. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for Viva-Voce Test to complete the selection process. The Viva-Voce Test will carry 20 marks.
Merit List: Merit list of Peon post will be prepared on the basis of performance of both written test and viva-voce test. For more details, you are advised to check the official notification.
Driver
Screening/ Driving Test: Candidates whose applications will be accepted will be called for Screening/ Driving Test. The Driving Test will carry 25 marks.
Viva-Voce: 3 candidates for each post will be called for Viva-Voce Test. Shortlisting will be according to the performance in the Screening/ Driving Test. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for Viva-Voce Test to complete the selection process. The Viva-Voice Test will carry 20 marks.
