SSC MTS Recruitment 2025
Staff Selection Commission has issued an official notification regarding the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2025. Through this competitive exam, SSC selects deserving candidates for various matriculation-level posts in different government departments. Only class 10 passed candidates will be eligible to submit their application for this competitive SSC exam. Online applications for the SSC MTS exam will be accepted through the official website of SSC. The official notification and other important details related to this exam are given below.
SSC MTS Recruitment Details
Exam Name: Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2025
Total Posts: 1075 Posts
Educational Qualification: The candidate should have passed matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board.
Pay Scale: ₹18,000–₹56,900/- (Level 1 as per 7th CPC pay Matrix)
Age Limit (MTS): Candidates must be between 21 and 25 years of age. They should have been born no earlier than 2nd August 2000 and no later than 1st August 2007 (both dates inclusive).
Age Limit (Havaldar): Candidates must be between 21 and 27 years of age. They should have been born no earlier than 2nd August 1998 and no later than 1st August 2007 (both dates inclusive).
Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation will be provided as per the rules.
Exam Centres in Assam: Dibrugarh (5102), Guwahati (Dispur) (5105), Jorhat (5107), Silchar (5111) and Tezpur (5112).
Application Fee: Women, Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), Scheduled Caste (SC), and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates are exempted from paying the application fee. All other candidates are required to pay an application fee of ₹100/-.
How to Apply for SSC MTS Recruitment?
Eligible candidates can apply for the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2025 directly through the Staff Selection Commission’s official web portal before the closing date. For those new to the SSC portal, completing a One Time Registration (OTR) is mandatory before you can proceed with submitting your application.
