The Department of Secondary Education, Assam has found that out of 22,599 eligible students, 1,060 students have not yet registered/ submitted their bank details and 2,548 students are registered but found their bank details to be incorrect/ discrepancies/ error. Therefore, the department has decided to reopen the application portal for those eligible 1,060 and 2,548 students. Those students list is provided in the section of important link and those students can submit their application within stipulated time.
Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme
Anundoram Borooah was the first civil servant of Assam. The Government of Assam had announced an award scheme in his name in 2005, which is known as the Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme. In short this scheme is widely known as ARBAS scheme. Under the ARBAS scheme, the government tried to enhance education by creating a competition among the students and students were also motivated due to this award scheme. In the history of Assam, this scheme is one of the most successful and corruption free scheme which has inspired many students to perform better in their HSLC/AHM examinations.

Eligibility Criteria of ARBAS
Qualification & Percentage: Students who have secured Star Marks or 75% or more in HSLC, Higher Madrassa and FM Examinations conducted by SEBA and State Madrassa Education Board, Assam are eligible to submit application for this scheme.
Passing Year: The student has to qualify his/her qualifying examination with the mentioned percentage in 2022.
Name of Board: Only those students who have passed their qualifying examination from SEBA and State Madrassa Education Board, Assam are eligible to submit application for this scheme.
Contents of ARBAS Laptop Award Scheme
This scheme is only for the students of Assam who have passed their class 10th examination under SEBA and State Madrassa Education Board, Assam. From 2017, the minimum marks to qualify for this award scheme has been revised from 60% to 75%. Now, students need to secure minimum 75% marks in their qualifying examination to be eligible for ARBAS scheme.
Award Value: The government will transfer a specific amount instead of distributing laptops to all the eligible students under this scheme. The government has decided to transfer Rs.16,000/- (Rupees Sixteen Thousand Only) to the bank account of every eligible student who has excelled in class 10th examination.
Date of Award Distribution: As per several reports, the concerned department will start the distribution of award from 7th September 2022.

In that portal, enter your Roll Code, Roll No, Date of Birth and click on Submit. |
Now, you have to fill all the asked details and click on Save. |
After that you have to upload your documents. |
After uploading the documents, you have to submit your application. |
You will get an acknowledgment after submitting the application. |
Keep that acknowledgment copy for future use. |
