The Directorate of Forensic Science, Assam has issued an official notification regarding the recruitment of 36 posts of Scientific Assistant. The Directorate of Forensic Science, Assam has invited online applications from interested eligible candidates who are citizens of India and having registration number in the employment office in the state of Assam. Name of Organization: Directorate of Forensic Science, Assam
Pay Scale: Pay Band-2 (Rs.14,000-60,500/-) with Grade Pay of Rs.7,600/-.
Educational Qualification: Candidates will be required to possess any one of the following educational qualifications to be eligible for recruitment.
| B.Sc in Chemistry/ Forensic Science with specialization in concerned subject. |
| B.Sc in Botany/ Zoology/ Anthropology (Physical)/ Biotechnology/ Forensic Science with specialization in concerned subject. |
| B.Sc in Physics/ Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Forensic Science with specialization in concerned subject. |
Citizenship: The candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and must be a Permanent Resident of Assam.
Employment Exchange Registration: The candidate must have registered their names in any employment exchange of Assam.
Age Limit: The candidate’s age should be between 21 years to 40 years as on 1st January 2023.
Age Relaxation: The category-wise upper age will be as follows.

Selection Process
Applicants whose applications are accepted will have to attend both a written test and a skill test, the skill test is exclusively for those who qualified in the written test. The examination date will be announced in the future, but the examination format will adhere to the following scheme.
