Forensic Science Recruitment 2021

Directorate of Forensic Science, Kahilipara, Assam has released a notification regrading the recruitment of Scientific Assistant and Junior Assistant. Candidates who will be eligible as per the official notification will be able to submit their applications in the standard application format. Complete details along with official notification and application form are given below.

Forensic Science Recruitment Details

1. Scientific Assistant

No of Posts: 36 Posts

  • Unreserved: 16 Posts
  • OBC: 09 Posts
  • SC: 02 Posts
  • STH: 02 Posts
  • STP: 03 Posts
  • EWS: 04 Posts

Educational Qualification: Category wise three educational qualifications are required for this recruitment.

  • For Category 1: B.Sc. in Chemistry.
  • For Category 2: B.Sc. in Botany/ Zoology/ Anthropology (Physical)/ Biotechnology.
  • For Category 3: B.Sc. in Physics/ Electronics/ Instrumentation.

Pay Scale: Rs.14,000 – 60,500/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.7,600/- per month.

2. Junior Assistant

No of Posts: 04 Posts

Educational Qualification: The applicant must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university. Candidate should have at least 6 months Diploma Certificate in Computer Proficiency from a recognized Institute. They should have good working knowledge of office productivity software tools like word processor, spreadsheet, presentation graphics concept of data base, internet, e-mail etc.

Pay Scale: Rs.14,000 – 60,500/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.6,200/- per month.

Other Details of Forensic Science Recruitment

Age Limit: The candidates age should be between 21 years to 40 years as on 1st January 2021.

Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation will be 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates and 5 years for ST candidates.

Employment Exchange Registration: The candidate must have registered their names in employment exchange and valid registration number along-with the date must be mentioned in their application.

Selection Process of Forensic Science Recruitment

Candidates whose applications are accepted will have to appear in the written test or skill test or both. The skill test will be conducted only for those who will qualify in the written test. Post wise, the scheme of the exam will be as follows.

Scientific Assistant

Type of Exam: Written Examination

Total Marks in Written Exam: 75 Marks

Subjects in Written Exam: Concerned subjects, General Knowledge, General English.

Skill Test: A skill test of 25 marks will be conducted for this post.

Junior Assistant

Type of Exam: Written Examination

Total Marks in Written Exam: 100 Marks

Subjects in Written Exam: General English, General Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude and Knowledge in Computer.

Skill Test: A skill test of 50 marks will be conducted for this post.
