Selection Process of Agriculture Recruitment
Candidates whose application are found correct in all respect will be called for Written Test i.e. First Phase Test which will be conducted at any convenient venue(s) depending upon the numbers of candidates. The candidates will have to appear for the First Phase Test at the venue mentioned in his/her call letter. However, the Chairman, Selection Committee, Directorate of Agriculture, Assam reserves the right to change the venue (s)of the test as necessitated and no representation etc. will be entertained in this regard.
1. Written Test
The recruiting authority will conduct the written test as the first stage exam for this recruitment. All the candidates who have submitted their applications for this recruitment have to participate in that written test. Below, we have provided the short description of that written exam along with the syllabus.

Negative Marking: There will be negative marking of 1⁄2 marks for each wrong answer.

2. Skill Test
The second stage examination will be a computer based test to test the knowledge of the posts applied for and proficiency in computer operation and will be a shorthand test for the candidates who have applied for the post of Stenographer and Steno-Typist.
