The Reserve Bank of India conducted the online test for the post of Office Attendant (Panel Year 2025) on 28 February and 1 March 2026. The result will determine who proceeds to the next stage, the Language Proficiency Test (LPT).
This recruitment covers 572 vacancies across 14 RBI offices in India. RBI Office Attendant Exam Pattern
The online test had four sections: Reasoning, General English, General Awareness, and Numerical Ability, with 30 questions each. The total marks were 120, and the exam duration was 90 minutes. There was negative marking of 1/4th mark for each wrong answer. Candidates had to qualify in each section separately to be considered for the merit list.

Selection Process After Result
Candidates shortlisted on the basis of the online test will be called for the Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The LPT is qualifying in nature and is conducted at the respective RBI Regional Offices. For Guwahati office candidates, the LPT will be held in Assamese, Bengali, Khasi, Manipuri, Bodo, or Mizo — or in English for candidates from Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh.
Only those who qualify the LPT will be considered for final selection. After the LPT, selected candidates must also pass a medical fitness test. Final appointment is subject to document verification, medical clearance, and the Bank’s satisfaction regarding all eligibility conditions.
Note: The online test scores will not be shared with candidates individually. However, after the final result is declared, the marks may be made available on the RBI website. The roll numbers of candidates qualified for the LPT will be displayed on the official RBI portal.
