Indian Navy Admit Card 2026
The Indian Navy has released the Stage I INET 2026 admit card on 1 May 2026 for candidates who applied for the Agniveer (MR) and Agniveer (SSR) recruitment under the 01/2027 and 02/2027 batches. The Agniveer SSR examination is scheduled for 13 May 2026, while the Agniveer MR examination will be held on 14 and 15 May 2026. Candidates who completed their online application during the 14 March 2026 to 06 April 2026 window and successfully paid the examination fee can now download their call-up letter cum admit card from the official portal joinindiannavy.gov.in.
The Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) is a computer-based examination conducted as the first stage of selection for Agniveer recruitment under the Agnipath Scheme. Based on the marks scored in this Stage I INET, candidates will be shortlisted state-wise for the Stage II process of the respective batch. No physical admit card will be sent by post, so the only way to obtain the hall ticket is by logging in to the candidate dashboard on the official Indian Navy portal.

Selection Process of Agniveer MR Recruitment
The selection of Agniveer (MR) candidates for the 01/2027 and 02/2027 batches is carried out through a three-stage process. A brief description of each stage is given below.
Stage I (INET 2026)
Shortlisting: An all-India computer-based examination, INET, is conducted for shortlisting candidates. Shortlisting is based on the marks obtained in INET and carried out state-wise. The cut-off marks for shortlisting may vary from state to state since vacancies are allotted state-wise.

Medium: Bilingual (Hindi and English)
Total Marks: 50 Marks
Questions: 50 MCQs (1 mark each)
Duration: 30 Minutes
Standard: Class 10th level
Sections: Science & Mathematics and General Awareness
Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. Each question has four options with only one correct answer.
Note: Candidates must pass in all sections as well as in aggregate. The Indian Navy reserves the right to determine the pass marks in each section and in aggregate.
Stage II (PFT, Written Exam & Recruitment Medical)
Candidates shortlisted on the basis of INET marks will receive call-up letters for Stage II. The Stage II process includes the Physical Fitness Test, the Stage II written examination, and the Recruitment Medical Examination. Stage II for the 01/2027 batch is scheduled tentatively for October 2026, and for the 02/2027 batch for March 2027. Aadhaar Card is mandatory for Stage II.
Physical Fitness Test: Qualifying the PFT is mandatory. Candidates undergoing PFT do so at their own risk. The PFT standards for MR are as follows.

Stage II Written Exam (MR): 50 questions of 1 mark each, bilingual, multiple-choice, of Class 10th standard. Duration is 30 minutes and the paper covers Science & Mathematics and General Awareness. Negative marking of 0.25 marks applies to wrong answers.
Recruitment Medical Examination: Candidates who qualify the PFT will undergo the Recruitment Medical Examination. Those found medically unfit may appeal for a review at the designated military hospital allocated by the Indian Navy within a maximum period of five days. Medical fitness certificates issued by hospitals other than the designated military hospital will not be accepted, and no further review or appeal is allowed.
Provisional Select List: The provisional select list is prepared based on performance in the Stage II written exam, subject to qualifying the PFT and Recruitment Medical Examination. For Agniveer (MR), the merit list is based on all-India merit.
Stage III (Pre-Enrolment Medicals at INS Chilka)
Pre-Enrolment Medical formalities of all selected candidates will be conducted at INS Chilka, Odisha. Induction depends on qualifying the Pre-Enrolment Medical examination. Candidates who do not qualify will be rejected. Training for the 01/2027 batch will commence tentatively in December 2026 and for the 02/2027 batch in May 2027.
Selection Process of Agniveer SSR Recruitment
The selection process for Agniveer (SSR) is also conducted in three stages, similar to MR but with a different exam structure for INET and the Stage II written exam. The details are as follows.
Stage I (INET 2026)
Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted state-wise based on marks obtained in INET. Cut-off marks may vary from state to state as vacancies are allotted state-wise.

Total Marks: 100 Marks
Questions: 100 MCQs (1 mark each)
Duration: 1 Hour
Standard: 10+2 level
Sections: English, Science, Mathematics, and General Awareness
Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer.
Note: Candidates are required to pass in all four sections as well as in aggregate to qualify for the next stage.
Stage II (PFT, Written Exam & Recruitment Medical)
Shortlisted candidates will be called for Stage II, which includes the Physical Fitness Test, the Stage II written examination, and the Recruitment Medical Examination. The Stage II written exam for SSR comprises 100 questions of 1 mark each, bilingual, of 10+2 standard, with a duration of one hour. Sections include English, Science, Mathematics, and General Awareness. Negative marking of 0.25 marks applies.
The PFT standards for SSR are the same as those for MR. Qualifying the PFT is mandatory for selection.
Provisional Select List: For Agniveer (SSR), the merit list is prepared on a state-wise basis. Cut-off marks for the issue of call-up letters for recruitment at INS Chilka may vary from state to state.
Stage III (Pre-Enrolment Medicals at INS Chilka)
All selected candidates will report to INS Chilka, Odisha for Pre-Enrolment Medical formalities. Final induction depends on clearing these medicals. Candidates not qualifying will be rejected. Training schedule remains the same as for MR — December 2026 for the 01/2027 batch and May 2027 for the 02/2027 batch.
Eligibility for Indian Navy Agniveer Recruitment
Only unmarried male and unmarried female candidates fulfilling the eligibility conditions laid down by the Government of India are eligible to apply. The educational qualification for Agniveer (MR) is Matriculation with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised board. For Agniveer (SSR), candidates must have qualified 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics with at least 50% marks, or a three-year diploma in Engineering, or a two-year vocational course with Physics and Mathematics, all with 50% aggregate.
Candidates born between 01 December 2004 and 31 October 2009 are eligible to apply for INET 2026. The 01/2027 batch covers candidates born between 01 December 2004 and 31 May 2009, while the 02/2027 batch covers those born between 01 May 2005 and 31 October 2009. Candidates can use the Age Calculator to check whether they fall within the prescribed age window. The minimum height standard for both male and female candidates is 157 cm.
How to Download Indian Navy Admit Card?
Candidates who submitted their online applications for the Stage I INET 2026 examination can now download the call-up letter cum admit card from the official Indian Navy portal. The admit card was released on 01 May 2026. Since the portal does not send admit cards by post, candidates must download it themselves before the exam date.
