The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) was established on 1 April 1937 and is the constitutional body that recruits candidates for state government posts in Assam. Its best-known examination is the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE), commonly called the Assam CCE, which remains one of the toughest exams in the state.

APSC CCE Mains Question Papers
The APSC CCE Main Examination consists of 6 papers carrying 1500 marks in total, with each paper worth 250 marks and 3 hours in duration. The written stage is followed by an Interview of 180 marks, which takes the overall total to 1680 marks.
