The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has declared the result of the Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination, 2025 on 30 July 2026 through notification. The Prelims exam was held on 5 July 2026 across 35 district headquarters in Assam for 78 vacancies, and the result has come out just 25 days after the exam, the quickest turnaround in the recent CCE cycles.
The result is a PDF that lists only the roll numbers of qualified candidates, and around 958 roll numbers appear in it. Selection Process After Prelims
The Preliminary Examination is only a screening test, and the marks you score in it do not count towards the final merit. Qualified candidates now move to the Main Written Examination, for which APSC will issue a separate notice with the application details and the exam schedule.
The final merit list is prepared from the Main Written Examination (1500 marks) and the Personal Interview (180 marks), for a total of 1680 marks. Services are allotted by rank, the preferences given in the application, and the applicable reservation rules.
APSC CCE Provisional Answer Key 2026
APSC had released the series-wise provisional answer keys for General Studies Paper-I and Paper-II on 5 July 2026, the same day as the exam, and objections were accepted till 10 July 2026 with an authentic source attached to each claim.
