APSC CCE Admit Card 2026

The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) will release the e-Admission Certificate for the Combined Competitive (Main) Examination, 2025 on 19 September 2026. The Main Examination is scheduled between 9 and 11 September 2026 (Sunday) at Guwahati, Assam. Candidates who submitted their applications for the 78 vacancies under the CCE 2025 can download their admit cards from the official portal of APSC. Note that the APSC will upload the list of eligible candidates along with their Roll Numbers on 18 September 2026.

APSC CCE Main Exam Schedule

The Main Examination runs over three consecutive days with two papers each day. The forenoon session is from 9 AM to 12 PM and the afternoon session is from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

APSC CCE Main Exam Pattern

The Main Examination has six descriptive papers of 250 marks each, adding up to 1500 marks. Every paper is of 3 hours’ duration, and there is no optional subject. Candidates may write their answers in English or Assamese.

General Studies-V is the Assam-specific paper introduced in 2020, and it covers the history, geography, polity, economy, culture, biodiversity, and disaster management of the state. The Essay paper requires candidates to write essays from the given sections, and it is scored on clarity of thought, structure of the argument, and command over language.

Documents to Carry to the Exam Hall

Candidates must bring their e-Admission Certificate along with a valid photo identity proof to the examination hall. Any one of the following documents is acceptable as photo ID:

PAN Card, Driving Licence, Voter ID Card, Passport, ID Card issued by the educational institution where the candidate is currently studying, ID Card issued by the Government or a Public Sector Undertaking, or Bank Passbook with photograph.

How to Download APSC CCE Admit Card 2026?

The e-Admission Certificate will be available on the official website from 19 September 2026. You can follow the following steps to download your admit card.

Step 1: Scroll down and check the Important Links section.
Step 2: Click on the Download Admit Card link.
Step 3: Select the examination name, enter your application no/roll no, date of birth, and click the Print Admit Card button.
Step 4: Your e-Admission Certificate will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Download and print the admit card.
