Special Assam TET Admit Card 2026
The State Level Empowered Committee, TET, Government of Assam has issued the admit card notification for the Special Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2026. The written examination for the Lower Primary and Upper Primary levels, held for the Bodo, Garo, Manipuri, and Hmar mediums, is scheduled for 28 June 2026 (Sunday).
Candidates who applied for Paper I or Paper II can download their admit card from the official ASSEB portal (erstwhile SEBA) starting 11:00 AM on 12 June 2026. The download requires the Application Number and Password used while filling up the application form. A printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID is mandatory for entry into the examination hall.

Exam Pattern of Special Assam TET 2026
Both papers contain 150 multiple-choice questions for a total of 150 marks, and each question carries 1 mark. The duration is 2 hours 30 minutes (150 minutes) per paper, with an extra 20 minutes per hour for visually impaired candidates. There is no negative marking. Paper I is for Lower Primary teachers and Paper II is for Upper Primary teachers.

How to Download Assam TET Admit Card?
Step 1: Open the Download Admit Card link from the Important Links section below to reach the official ASSEB (SEBA) portal.
Step 2: On the admit card page, enter the Application Number and Password that you used while submitting the online application form.
Step 3: Submit the details to view your admit card. Check your name, photograph, paper, examination centre, date, and reporting time carefully.
Step 4: Download the admit card and take a clear printout. Keep at least one hard copy ready for the exam day, since a printed copy is required at the centre.
Documents and Items to Carry
Candidates must bring a hard copy of the admit card and one valid government photo identity card in physical form, such as an Aadhaar card, PAN card, Driving License, or Voter ID. PwBD candidates must also carry a certificate from the Competent Authority or the District Commissioner, as applicable, and should arrange it well in advance.
Only a few items are allowed inside the examination hall: the printed admit card, proof of identity, a blue or black ballpoint pen, pencil, scale, eraser, a transparent water bottle without labels, one handkerchief, one plastic card (debit or credit, not more than one), driving license, and a minimum amount of cash.
Note: Mobile phones (even in switched-off mode), smart or digital watches, health bands, electronic pen or scanner, Bluetooth devices, earphones, microphones, calculators, pen drives, bits of paper, and any other communication or storage device are not allowed. There is no facility to keep such items in safe custody at the centre.
