SSUHS GNM Entrance Exam Result 2026
Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) has declared the result of the GNM Entrance Examination (GNMEE) 2026 today, 5 August 2026, for admission into the GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) course in government and private institutes across Assam, under the Directorate of Health Services. The exam was conducted on 28 June 2026 in offline OMR mode.
Candidates who appeared in the exam can now log in with their Application Number and Password to view their scorecard, subject-wise marks, and merit rank on the official website of SSUHS.
The result has come out 38 days after the exam, about five and a half weeks later, a slightly longer gap than last year, when SSUHS conducted the GNM Entrance Exam on 13 July 2025 and declared the result in the first half of August 2025.

GNM Counselling Schedule 2026
The Directorate of Health Services, Assam has released the schedule for the 1st round of offline counselling for admission into the 1st year GNM Training Course for the session 2026-2027 in the 26 Government GNM Training Schools of Assam. The counselling will be held from 23 September 2026 to 29 September 2026 for candidates who appeared in the CEE 2026 conducted by the Srimanta Sankardeva University of Health Sciences, Guwahati.

SSUHS GNMEE 2026 Marks Distribution
The GNM Entrance Exam has 100 questions of 1 mark each, set at the Class 10th standard, and the scorecard shows marks subject-wise as well as the total score.

How the Merit List is Prepared
Merit is decided on the total marks scored out of 100. If two or more candidates end up with the same total, the tie is broken using the marks scored in English first. If the tie still holds, marks in General Science are checked next, and Mathematics marks decide the final tie-break.
SSUHS has not published a separate minimum qualifying mark list along with the GNMEE 2026 result; the merit list is prepared directly from the total marks scored. Candidates who appear in the merit list move on to the counselling and document verification stage conducted by the Directorate of Health Services.
