SSC GD Constable Result 2026
The Staff Selection Commission conducted the Computer-Based Examination for Constable (GD) and Rifleman (GD) recruitment from 27 April to 30 May 2026. The examination was held for 25,487 tentative vacancies in the Central Armed Police Forces, the Secretariat Security Force, and the Assam Rifles.
SSC has not declared the SSC GD Constable Result 2026 as of now. The provisional answer key has been released on 15 June 2026. SSC GD Result and Merit List
SSC is expected to publish the CBE result through a result notice and one or more PDF lists. Candidates can search these files using their roll number. The notice will also carry category-wise and area-wise cut-off details, subject to the format adopted by the commission for this examination.
The commission normally releases individual marks separately after declaring the result. Candidates may need their registration number and password to view the scorecard when the marks link becomes active. The result PDF itself can usually be checked without logging in.
Minimum Qualifying Marks
The official notification prescribes the following minimum qualifying marks for the Computer Based Examination. These percentages only set the basic qualifying standard. The actual cut-off for PET/PST shortlisting may be higher and will depend on normalized marks, category, gender, state or Union Territory, and vacancy availability.

NCC certificate holders are also eligible for bonus marks according to the level of their certificate. The final CBE merit used for shortlisting will be based on normalized scores along with the applicable NCC bonus marks.
What Happens After the SSC GD Result?
Candidates who clear the CBE cut-off will be shortlisted for the Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test. As stated in the recruitment notice, candidates will be shortlisted state-wise and area-wise at roughly eight times the number of vacancies. Separate shortlisting applies to male and female candidates and to each category.
The PET/PST is qualifying in nature. Those who clear it may be called for Detailed Medical Examination and Document Verification. At this stage, the shortlisted number is normally about two times the vacancies. Final selection will depend on CBE merit, force preference, vacancy availability and successful completion of every required stage.
