What Happens After the INET Result?
Candidates are shortlisted for Stage II state-wise on the basis of INET marks and their age eligibility for the respective batch. Cut-off marks may vary between states. Passing INET does not confirm final selection.
Stage II includes the Physical Fitness Test (PFT), written examination, and Recruitment Medical Examination. Shortlisted candidates should download their call-up letter and follow the reporting date, venue and instructions given in it.
The provisional select list is based on Stage II written examination performance, subject to qualifying the PFT and recruitment medical examination. MR merit is prepared on an all-India basis, while SSR merit is state-wise. Induction also requires qualifying the pre-enrolment medical formalities at INS Chilka.
02/2027 Batch: The recruitment notice provides a separate Stage II schedule for this batch. Call-up letters are tentatively scheduled for February 2027 and Stage II for March 2027. The current portal announcement dated 17 September 2026 covers the 01/2027 batch.

| If shortlisted for the 01/2027 batch, open your Stage II call-up letter. |
| Save the result for reference and download and print the call-up letter. Check its reporting date, venue, and required documents. |
Documents for Stage II: Bring the original certificates, marksheets, domicile certificate, and NCC certificate, if applicable, uploaded with your application. Original documents are verified at each stage. Follow any additional requirements in your call-up letter.
