IBPS Recruitment 2024
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has issued an official notification regarding the recruitment of Clerical Cadre vacancies under the Common Recruitment Process. Under this recruitment, IBPS will accept online applications from eligible candidates for 6128 vacant posts in the Participating Banks of India. Candidates who found them eligible as per the notification can submit their online application on the official web portal of IBPS.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent.
Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have a Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in computer operations/ Language/ should have studied Computer/ Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/ College/ Institute.
Language Proficiency: Candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply.
Age Limit: The candidate should be between 20 and 28 years as of 1st July 2024. The candidate should be born between 2nd July 1996 and 1st July 2004 (both dates inclusive).
Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation will be 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates, 5 years for ST candidates and 10 years for PwD candidates. For more details, check the official notification.

Selection Process of IBPS Recruitment
Candidates who have submitted online applications against this recruitment of Institute of Banking Personnel Selection will have to appear in two online selection-based examinations. The details of those two selection exams are given below along with the syllabus.
Preliminary Examination
The Preliminary Examination consisting of an Objective Test for 100 marks will be conducted online. This exam will be of 1 hour duration with 3 tests as follows. Candidates will have to qualify in each of the three tests of the Preliminary Examination by securing cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. Based on the performance of this exam candidates will be selected for the main exam.
