Eligibility Criteria for Biswanath Recruitment
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10th standard (HSLC) or equivalent from a Board or Institution recognised by the State/Central Government.
Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 30 years old. Age will be verified through a Birth Certificate issued by a competent authority, or through the HSLC Admit Card or Certificates from a recognised Board or Council. Nationality & Residency: Applicants must be Indian citizens and permanent residents of the specific area for which they are seeking appointment.
Property Requirement: Candidates must own land or immovable property within the area where they intend to be appointed as Gaon Pradhan.
Children Limit: Candidates must not have more than two living children from a single or multiple partners, as per Government of Assam Notification dated 19 July 2019 (No. RLR.187/2007/Pt/24).
Government Employment & Political Affiliation: The candidate must not be a government employee and must not be a member of any political party.
