AHSEC Rechecking of Answer Script
On 30th April 2025, the Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) has declared the Assam HS Final Examination 2025 Results. This year, 302,613 students appeared in the Assam HS Final Examination, and out of them, 247,462 students have successfully passed the exam. On the same day, the ASSEB (Div-II) has published an official notification regarding the re-checking of answer scripts along with the procedure for obtaining scanned copies of answer scripts.
According to the notification, the online application portal for rechecking will be made live 2 days after the result declaration. Students who are unsatisfied with their marks will be able to submit their applications for the rechecking of answer scripts within 15 days from the date the portal is made live. This window provides students with sufficient time to review their results and decide whether they want to apply for a recheck. The rechecking process offers students an opportunity to verify that their answers were evaluated correctly and that no calculation errors occurred during the marking process.

Application Fee: Students who wish to submit applications for both the rechecking and obtaining a scanned copy of their answer scripts used during the Assam HS Final Examination, 2025 will need to pay an application fee of ₹500/-. This fee is mandatory to successfully submit their applications through the online portal.
Payment Mode: Candidates have to pay the above applicable application fee through online payment modes. No application will be accepted without a fee.
AHSEC Rechecking Process Details
The candidate shall note that the Re-Checking of the Answer Script shall not mean Re-Evaluation of the Answer Scripts. Re-checking shall include the following:
- Re-totalling of Marks awarded by the Examiner.
- Assessment of Answer(s) which has/have been left out unevaluated.
- Correction of wrong entry of marks in any manner/nature.
The results of rechecking will be informed to the applicant through a notification within 30 days from the last date of receipt of the application. The marksheets/ certificates to the candidates, in case of any change, will be issued on submission of the original marksheets/ certificates in the board’s office through the head of the concerned school, with the intimation of the head of the institution. No such marksheets/ certificates will be sent directly to the school/ candidate or through any other agency.
How to Apply for AHSEC Rechecking?
Students will need to visit the official website of the ASSEB (Div-II) two days after the result declaration. On the official website, students will find a dedicated link for re-checking of answer scripts along with the procedure for obtaining scanned copies of answer scripts.
Students should click on that link and follow the guided process. They will be required to enter their details and select the specific subjects they want to be rechecked. Additionally, they must provide a valid email address to receive the scanned copy of their answer scripts. After completing all the necessary steps, students will be prompted to make the payment of the applicable fee (₹500/- per subject). Once the payment is successfully processed, they will receive an acknowledgment copy, and their application will be submitted.
