UPSC NDA Result 2026
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the written result of the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2026 on 8 May 2026. The written test was held on 12 April 2026 across various centres in India. Candidates whose roll numbers appear in the result list have qualified for the next stage, which is the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview conducted by the Ministry of Defence. The merit list is available in PDF format on the official UPSC website.
Qualified candidates will be considered for admission to the Army, Navy, and Air Force Wings of the National Defence Academy for the 157th Course, and for the 119th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC), commencing from 1 January 2027.

Next Steps After the Written Result
The candidature of all qualified candidates is provisional and subject to verification at the SSB stage. As per the UPSC notice, qualified candidates must register online on the Indian Army recruiting website joinindianarmy.nic.in within two weeks from the announcement of the written result. Candidates who have already registered on the site earlier are not required to register again.
After registration, successful candidates will be allotted Selection Centres and dates for the SSB interview, which will be communicated through their registered e-mail ID. For any login or query issues, candidates can write to [email protected].
Candidates must also carry the original certificates of Age and Educational Qualification to the respective Service Selection Boards (SSBs) during the SSB interview. These original documents should not be sent to UPSC.
Note: Marks and cut-off marks of NDA & NA (I) 2026 will be uploaded on the UPSC website only after the final result is declared, and will remain available for 30 days thereafter.
