SSUHS BSc Nursing Admission
Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences has issued an official notification regarding the BSc Nursing Entrance Examination, 2024. SSUHS will conduct an entrance exam for admission into 1st year B.Sc. Nursing course under the Directorate of Medical Education, Assam for the session 2024. According to the official notification of SSUHS, eligible candidates can submit their applications on the official web portal from 9th May 2024.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc. Nursing
Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Science or Equivalent Examination from a recognized Board/ Council/ University with English as one of the subjects and securing at least 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for General category candidates, 45% marks for PWD candidates and 40% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ ST(P)/ ST(H) category without grace marks. However, the students who have appeared Higher Secondary (10+2) Science Examination in 2024 and awaiting their HS results are also eligible to appear in the Entrance Examination. They will be considered provisionally eligible at the time of application. However, they shall have to upload their HS (10+2) marks in the application portal as and when the result is declared.
Gender: The applicant must be a Female candidate (for institutions under the Government of Assam). However, Male candidates may also appear in the BSc Nursing Entrance Exam, 2024 for admission into Institutes under Private Sectors.
Age Limit: Applicant’s minimum age should be 17 years as of 31st December 2024.
Other Details of SSUHS Entrance Exam
BSc Nursing Entrance Examination for the selection of candidates for admission into the B.Sc. Nursing Course in the various Institutes under the Directorate of Medical Education, Assam for the session 2024 will be held on 9th June 2024 at Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Silchar, Jorhat, Barpeta, Tezpur, Diphu, Lakhimpur, Kokrajhar, Shillong, Aizawl, Itanagar, Agartala, Imphal, Dimapur and Gangtok. The online application form will be available on the website of Srimanta Sankardev University of Health Sciences (www.ssuhs.in) from 6th May to 24th May 2024. The application form will no longer be available after 24th May 2024. Hence, interested candidates are advised to submit the form within this stipulated period only.
Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable examination fee of Rs.1500/- if they belong to the General category and Rs.1200/- if they belong to SC/ST/EWS/OBC-NCL/MOBC
Nationality: Applicants must be Indian citizens.
Residentship: The applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam.
