SSC Selection Post Recruitment 2026
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for the Selection Post Phase-XIV/2026 Examination. A total of 3003 vacancies have been advertised across various Ministries, Departments, and Government Organizations under the Central Government. Eligible candidates can apply online through the SSC website from 13 April 2026 to 4 May 2026.
This recruitment covers posts at three educational levels: Matriculation (10th), Higher Secondary (10+2), and Graduation & above. Posts are spread across all nine regional offices of SSC. Some of the posts advertised include Junior Engineer, Scientific Assistant, Vocational Instructor, Nursing Officer, Medical Attendant, Surveyor, Personal Assistant, and many others. Candidates who wish to apply for more than one post must submit separate applications and pay the fee for each post individually.
The Computer-Based Examination (CBE) is tentatively scheduled for June 2026. The exam will be conducted in Hindi and English only. There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.

Eligibility Criteria

Exam Pattern
The exam consists of 100 objective-type MCQs carrying 200 marks. It is divided into four parts with a sectional timer of 15 minutes each. Candidates who are eligible for scribes get 80 minutes total (20 minutes per section).
