The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has published an official notification for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2026. This examination will be conducted for recruitment to Group C vacancies across various Ministries, Departments, and Offices of the Government of India, as well as Constitutional Bodies, Statutory Bodies, and Tribunals. Educational Qualification: The candidate should have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) from a recognized Board or equivalent. Please refer to the official notification for further information.
Application Fee: Women, Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), Scheduled Caste (SC), and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates are exempted from paying the application fee. All other candidates are required to pay an application fee of ₹100/-.

Scheme of CHSL Examination
The Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2026 will be conducted as a Computer-Based Examination in two tiers. Please note that the examination schedule provided in the official notice is tentative. Any revisions or changes to this schedule will be communicated exclusively through the Commission’s official website. Furthermore, there will be no provision for re-evaluation or re-checking of scores, and no correspondence regarding this will be entertained.
Tier-I (Computer-Based Examination)
Candidates who apply for the SSC CHSL examination will be required to appear for a Computer-Based Tier-1 exam conducted by the Commission. The structure of this Tier-1 examination is as follows:

Tier-II (Computer-Based Examination)
