SEBA Rechecking of Answer Scripts
On 11th April 2025, the Assam State School Education Board (Division-I) has declared the HSLC Examination, 2025 Results. This year, 422,737 students participated in the matriculation examination of Assam, out of which 270,471 students have passed the examination. This year, the board has declared the HSLC Results in record time, being the second board in India to declare the matriculation results after the Bihar Board. After the declaration of the results, the board has decided to provide an option of rechecking the answer scripts for students who are dissatisfied with their results declared on 11th April 2025. To avail of the rechecking option provided by the board, students need to apply online within the stipulated time. Students can also apply for the rechecking of answer scripts and scanned copies of answer scripts.

Application Fee: Students willing to submit applications for the rechecking of the answer scripts used during the Assam HSLC Examination, 2025 will have to pay the applicable amount of fee as application fee to successfully submit their applications. The applicable application fee details will be as follows.
- Rechecking and Scanned Copy of the Answer Script: ₹400/-
- Scanned Copy of OMR with Answer Key: ₹50/-
Payment Mode: Candidates have to pay the above applicable application fee through online payment modes. No application will be accepted without a fee.
SEBA Rechecking Process Details
The candidate shall note that the Re-Checking of the Answer Script shall not mean Re-Evaluation of the Answer Scripts. Re-checking shall include the following:
- Re-totalling of Marks awarded by the Examiner.
- Assessment of Answer(s) which has/have been left out unevaluated.
- Correction of wrong entry of marks in any manner/nature.
The results of rechecking will be informed to the applicant through a notification within 30 days from the last date of receipt of the application. The marksheets/ certificates to the candidates, in case of any change, will be issued on submission of the original marksheets/ certificates in the board’s office through the head of the concerned school, with the intimation of the head of the institution. No such marksheets/ certificates will be sent directly to the school/ candidate or through any other agency.
How to Apply for SEBA Rechecking?
Candidates can apply online for the Rechecking of Answer Scripts through the official website of SEBA within the stipulated time. Candidates must visit the official website of SEBA, Assam for the latest notifications and regular updates including links related to rechecking. Also, candidates can follow the following steps to complete their online application process of rechecking.

| Now, an official web portal will load in a new tab of your browser. |
| Read all the instructions carefully and prepare the required details and documents. |
| Enter your Roll Code and Roll Number in the relevant fields of the Apply Now section. |
| After that, click on the Proceed button. |
| Select either only re-checking or photocopy with re-checking of the evaluated answer scripts. |
| Select the subjects for which you want to apply for re-checking or photocopy with re-checking. |
| Upload the scanned copy of your Admit Card in .jpeg, .jpg or .png format and the file size should be within 500 KB. |
| Provide your contact details in the space provided. |
| Check carefully all the information provided by you. (SEBA is not responsible for any unprocessed applications due to wrong information provided by the candidates). |
| Proceed to make payment by clicking the CONFIRM AND PAY ONLINE button. |
| Enter the necessary details on the online payment page. Click on the blue coloured Pay Now button on the bottom right to confirm the payment. |
| After making a successful payment, you will get your ARN Number (Application Receipt Number) on your mobile number. You may download your invoice for the payment. (Keep it safe for future reference.) |
| You can use your ARN further to check the status of your application on the website. |
