Exam Centres (Assam): Dibrugarh, Guwahati, Jorhat, Silchar and Tezpur.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government as of 31 December 2024.
Final Year Students: Candidates in the final year/semester of their graduation are eligible to apply provisionally. However, they must provide proof of having successfully completed their graduation examination on or before 31 December 2024 if called for an interview.
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 20 and 28 years of age as of 1 April 2024.
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates, 5 years for ST candidates, and 10 years for PwD candidates. For detailed information, candidates are advised to refer to the official notification.
Application Fee: The application fee is NIL for candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC/Ex-servicemen/PwBD categories, while it is ₹750/- for General/OBC/EWS candidates. The fee can be paid online using a Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI through the payment gateway.

SBI Clerk Selection Process
The selection process for the position of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) includes a Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Language Test.
Preliminary Examination
The Online Preliminary Exam consists of Objective Tests totalling 100 marks and is conducted online. This test has a duration of 1 hour and comprises three sections as follows:

Each test will have a separate timing as mentioned above. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of the mark assigned for each question will be deducted for each wrong answer. Main Examination
The Online Main Exam consists of Objective Tests totalling 200 marks and is conducted online. This test has a duration of 2 hours 40 minutes and comprises three sections as follows:

Language Test
Candidates who qualify for selection and provide a 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/certificate indicating the study of the specified opted local language will be exempt from any language test. For those who did not study the specified opted local language at the 10th or 12th standard level, a language test will be conducted after provisional selection but before joining. Failure to qualify in this test will result in the non-offering of an appointment. Candidates not demonstrating proficiency in the specified opted local language will be disqualified.
Final Selection
The marks secured in the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) will not be included in the selection process, and only the cumulative marks achieved in the Main Examination (Phase-II) will be taken into account for the final merit list preparation. Provisional selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in the Main Examination.
