The Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Assam has started a new service through the newly launched SevaSetu Portal. The new service of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Assam is known as e-Khazana. As the name suggests, the e-Khazana service will help land owners to pay their land revenue or Khazana through an online portal of the Government of Assam. The Assam government led by Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma is taking very helpful steps to improve government services by digitizing them. Earlier, Mission Basundhara, Online Exchange Card, Online Driving Services and Mission Bhumiputra are some of the successful services launched under his leadership.

Under the e-Khazana service, the registration of the pattadars (landowners) has been started from 1st April 2023. To avail online Khazana payment service, pattadars will have to register themselves in the SewaSetu Portal of the Government of Assam. The payment of land revenue through the online portal will start from the next agricultural year i.e. July 1 2023. All the revenue pending before the said agricultural year will have to be paid through traditional methods.
Payment Modes of e-Khazana
Pattadars (landowners) will get a variety of payment options to pay their land revenue under the newly introduced e-Khazana service. The Online Khazana Payment service will be linked to a payment gateway which will have various payment options like UPI, Debit/Credit cards and NetBanking. The user will have to select any one of those options to make his/her revenue payment.
How to Pay Online Khazana of Assam?
To pay online Khazana or land revenue, pattadars will have to login to the newly introduced SewaSetu portal of the Government of Assam. If one has not registered in the SevaSetu portal then he/she has to create an account before proceeding for online khazana payment.
