The Directorate of Higher Education, Assam, has notified that all students admitted to various higher education institutions under the directorate will need to generate a unique admission ID. This unique admission ID from DHE, Assam, can be generated by providing basic details on the official portal created for this purpose. How to Generate Online Unique ID?
Students can submit their online applications for the DHE Unique ID through the official website of the Directorate of Higher Education, Assam. Additionally, students can follow the easy steps listed below to complete their application process for a Unique Student Admission ID.

| An official web portal will now load in your browser’s new tab. |
| In that portal, you will get a registration form to register yourself. |
| In that registration form, you have to provide all your required details. |
| After that, you have to submit your details. |
| After submission, a confirmation SMS will be sent to your mobile number. |
| That’s it. Now, you will get your DHE Unique ID. |
| Also, you will receive an acknowledgement copy of your submission. |
| Keep that acknowledgement copy for future use. |

Students must keep the following details ready before filling out this online registration form released by DHE, Assam. All students note that it is mandatory to get admission to their desired institutes.

The steps to modify the details of Unique ID are given below and students will be able to modify their details by following these steps.

| In that portal, you will get a login form. |
| In that form, you will need to enter your DHE Unique ID and Date of Birth. |
| After that, you have to click on the Sign In button. |
| Now, you will find Personal Information, Bank Account Details and Qualifying Examination & Admission options. |
| Click on any one of the above options to update the details of that particular option. |
| Now, you can make changes. Click on the Save button to save the updated details. |
| After saving, click on the Acknowledgment option to download the modified acknowledgement copy. |
| Keep that acknowledgement copy for future use. |
Note: The Online Unique ID generation process is a mandatory process to get admission to any institute in Assam. Hence, all the students are advised to generate their IDs even if they have already completed their online admission process for the session.
