ITI Assam Admission 2023
Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training, Assam is the main organizing body related to ITIs of Assam. Students seeking admission must submit an admission application to DECT, Assam to get admission into various ITI colleges in Assam. Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training, Assam has recently released an official notification regarding admission into Government Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) of Assam for several courses. Online applications are invited from eligible and interested candidates for admission to NCVT/CoE trades, SCVT trades, IMC under SCVT (SCVT trades conducted by IMC in some ITIs) under Craftsman Training Scheme for the session 2023.

Eligibility Criteria of ITI Admission
Candidates are advised to check the official notification before submitting the application for any course under ITI admission process. There are different eligibility criteria for different courses, if you have submitted the application and you are found ineligible then your application will be rejected.
Educational Qualification: Candidates who have passed class 10th or equivalent from a recognized Board/University are eligible for admission. For course wise details, we advise you to check the official notification.
Age Limit: The candidate’s age should not be less than 14 years as on 1st August 2023.

To get admission candidates need to attend an e-counselling which will be conducted by the department but before that candidates have to register or submit an online application for this admission through the official application portal of DECT, Assam. Also, candidates can follow the simple steps listed below to complete their online application for admission in ITI.

Admission Fee of ITI Admission 2023
Below are the details of the ITI admission fee which will have to be paid by the candidates after seat allotment. However, candidates have to follow the instructions mentioned in the seat allotment letter and directed by the Principal of the college.
For NCVT & SCVT Trades

Note: Payment of tuition fees will be waived for BPL candidates, except for SCVT under IMC courses.

Counselling of ITI Assam Admission
Counselling for ITI Admission 2023 will start in due course as per the admission schedule. Only after the verification of documents, the eligible candidates will be able to participate in the choice-filling process. In this counselling process, candidates have to opt for the course and college of their choice to get admission.
After that, the concerned authority will analyse the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination and prepare the merit list accordingly. Accordingly, the seat allotment result for each round will be declared and successful candidates will have to report to the allotted college/institute for further admission formalities.
