ITI Admission 2021
Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training, Assam is the main organizing body related to ITIs of Assam. Students seeking admission must submit admission application to DECT, Assam to get admission in various ITI colleges in Assam. Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training, Assam has recently released an official notification regarding admission in Government Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) of Assam for several courses. Online applications are invited from eligible and interested candidates for admission to NCVT/CoE trades, SCVT trades, IMC under SCVT (SCVT trades conducted by IMC in some ITIs) under Craftsman Training Scheme for the session 2021-22.

Eligibility Criteria of ITI Admission
Candidates are advised to check the official notification before submitting the application for any course under ITI admission process. To get admission candidate need to attend e-counselling which will be conducted by the department but before that candidate have to register or submit online application against this admission through official application portal of DECT, Assam. Admission Fee of ITI Admission 2021
Given below is the details of ITI admission fee which will have to be paid by the candidates after seat allotment. However, candidates have to follow the instructions mentioned in the seat allotment letter and directed by the Principal of the college.
For NCVT & SCVT Trades
- Tuition fees (Rs.50/- per month): Rs.600/- (for 1 year)
- Caution Money (Refundable): Rs.250/-
- Registration fees: Rs.25/-
- Medical Examination Fees: Rs. 25/-
- Trainees Union fees: For 1 year Rs.175/- & For 2 years Rs.350/-
- Hostel service charge: Rs.50/- (where applicable)
- Hostel Caution Money (Refundable): Rs.250/ (where applicable)
Note: Payment of tuition fee will be waived off for BPL candidates, except for SCVT under IMC courses.
For SCVT under IMC Courses
- For Non Engineering courses: Rs.15,000/- per year
- For Engineering course: Rs.16,500/- (for one year) & Rs.33,000/- (for two years)
Counseling for ITI Admission
Counseling for ITI Admission 2021-22 will start in due course as per the admission schedule. Only after the verification of documents, the eligible candidates will be able to participate in the choice filling process. In this counseling process, candidates have to opt for the course and college of their choice to get admission.
After that, the concerned authority will analyze the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination and prepare the merit list accordingly. Accordingly, the seat allotment result for each round will be declared and successful candidates will have to report to the allotted college/institute for further admission formalities.
