The Indian Army has released multiple zone-wise official notifications for the Common Entrance Exam (CEE) 2025 as part of the Agniveer recruitment drive. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and aspire to serve in the Indian Army can submit their online applications through the official Indian Army web portal.
The online application process for Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2025 has officially started on 12th March 2025. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply within the stipulated timeframe to avoid last-minute issues.

Age Limit: Candidates born between 1st October 2004 and 1st April 2008 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply for the Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment.
Examination Fee: Candidates are required to pay an application fee of ₹250 (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty only). The payment can be made through Net Banking from any bank or using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Cards or UPI Payment.
Educational Qualification
Agniveer (General Duty): Candidates who have passed the class 10th examination with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject are eligible. Additionally, candidates with valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving Licenses will be given preference for Driver requirements.
Agniveer (Technical): Candidates who have passed the class 12th examination in the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject are eligible.
Agniveer Clerk/ Store Keeper (Technical): Candidates who have passed the class 12th examination in any stream with 60% marks in aggregate and 50% in each subject are eligible. It is mandatory to have English and either Mathematics, Accounts, or Book Keeping as subjects in Class XII.
Agniveer Tradesmen 10th Pass: Candidates who have passed the class 10th examination with a minimum of 33% marks in each subject are eligible.
Agniveer Tradesmen 8th Pass: Candidates who have passed the class 8th examination with a minimum of 33% marks in each subject are eligible.

Recruitment Process of Indian Army
The Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment will be conducted in two phases. Phase I consists of the Online Common Entrance Exam (CEE), which will be held at Computer-Based Test (CBT) Centers across India. Candidates must qualify in this exam to proceed to the next stage. Phase II is the Recruitment Rally, organized by Army Recruiting Offices (AROs) at designated Rally Venues, where shortlisted candidates will undergo physical fitness tests, medical examinations, and document verification. Only those who clear Phase I will be eligible to participate in Phase II.
Phase I (Online CEE)

Negative Marking: 25% of marks will be deducted for the wrong answer for each attempt.
Normalization: Marks scored by the candidates in Online CEE will be Normalised to take into account variation in difficulty levels of the question paper across different sessions.
Phase II (Recruitment Rally)
Candidates will be shortlisted based on the cut-off marks in the written exam, which will be determined proportionate to the available vacancies. The Roll Numbers of candidates who qualify on merit will be published on the Join Indian Army website. Shortlisted candidates will receive a second admit card for the remaining stages of the recruitment process, which will be conducted as per the Rally Schedule of the Army Recruiting Offices (AROs).

How to Apply for Indian Army Recruitment?
To submit applications for the Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment, candidates must log in to www.joinindianarmy.nic.in, check their eligibility status, and create their profile. During registration, candidates must enter their highest educational qualification, and at the application stage, they should provide the educational qualification required for the applied category.
Applicants must have an active email ID and mobile number, as these will be used for further communication. Candidates should accurately enter their height (in millimetres) as per their applied category and region-based physical measurement standards, including any special relaxations provided on the portal. Any false height/weight details or bogus/unverified certificates for relaxation in physical standards may lead to the cancellation of candidature during Phase II (Recruitment Rally).
Candidates must choose five preferred exam centres, and while every effort will be made to allot centres based on preferences, assignments outside the selected choices may occur due to administrative constraints. Additionally, applicants must upload a recent photograph matching their current appearance, as discrepancies in the photo may lead to disqualification from the selection process.
