Assam HSLC Form Fill-Up 2027
The Assam State School Education Board, Division-I (ASSEB Div-I) has announced the form fill-up schedule for the HSLC Examination 2027. The schools will complete the form fill-up process for their students who are going to appear for the HSLC Examination to be conducted by the ASSEB. Students of Government, Provincialised and recognised venture schools whose parental annual income is ₹4 lakh or below will not have to pay the examination fee, provided they registered in Class IX in 2024 or 2025.

HSLC Form Fill-Up Details
Exam Name: High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination 2027
Organization: Assam State School Education Board, Division-I
Who Fills the Form: The candidate’s school, where the candidate registered for Class IX. No candidate can fill up the form from another school unless the registration has been transferred.
Eligibility: Candidates who did not appear in the Class X internal examinations (Unit Tests and Half Yearly Examination) will not be allowed to sit for the HSLC Examination 2027.
Bank Details: Candidates must provide their bank account details during the form fill-up.
Exam Date: The Assam HSLC Exam 2027 is expected to be held in March–April 2027.

Fee Exemption: Under Government of Assam Notification No. E-238074/869 dated 14 November 2025, the fee is waived for candidates of Government, Provincialised and recognised venture schools whose parental annual income from all sources is ₹4 lakh or below. This applies only to students registered in Class IX in 2024 and 2025.
How to Claim the Exemption: Parents or guardians must apply to the Head of the Institution, who will verify the documents before allowing the waiver. The candidate also has to submit a photograph showing the present status of the tree they planted at the time of Class IX admission.
Note: Students registered in one school but studying in another are not eligible for the exemption, even if they belong to the low-income category. If such a waiver is detected later, the result will be withheld and action will be taken against the Head of the Institution.
Annual Recognition Fee: Every institution must pay an annual recognition fee of ₹1,000.
How to Fill Up the ASSEB HSLC Exam Form?
The form is filled up by schools, not by individual students. Schools log in to the official portal with the same User ID and Password used for the Class IX Registration. Further detailed instructions are available on the official portal.
