Gauhati University B.Ed Admission
Gauhati University published an official notification on 19th June 2025 regarding the B.Ed. Common Entrance Test (GUBEDCET), 2025. According to the notification, the university will accept online applications for this entrance examination from 25th June to 7th July 2025. The same notification also confirms that the B.Ed. Common Entrance Test for admission into Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) courses is scheduled to be held on 20th July 2025. Eligibility Criteria: Candidates are eligible to appear in the GUBEDCET-2025 if they hold a BA, BSc, BCom, MA, MSc, MCom, or an equivalent degree from a recognized Board/University. A minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying degree is required. However, a concession is provided for SC, ST, OBC, and PWD categories, who need to have secured at least 45% marks.
Application Fee: The applicants are required to pay an Application Fee of ₹2000/- (Rupees two thousand only) for their submission to be considered. This payment must be made through the online payment gateway during the form submission process. You can use your Debit (ATM) Card, Credit Card, or Internet Banking services to complete this payment. Please note that no alternative payment methods will be accepted.

How to Apply for GU B.Ed Admission?
Eligible students, as per the official notification, who wish to apply for admission to the B.Ed. course must submit their applications online through the official web portal.
Step 1: Account Creation/Registration
The application process begins with creating an account on the portal. If you are a new user, you will need to complete the registration process.
Step 2: Log In and Fill Application Form
After successful registration, log in to the portal using your newly obtained credentials. Once logged in, you will need to fill out the provided application form with your personal and educational details.
Step 3: Upload Documents
Applicants may also be required to upload scanned copies of their recent passport-size photograph, signature, and other relevant documents as specified on the portal.
Step 4: Application Fee Payment
After completing all the required details and document uploads, candidates will be prompted to make the payment of the application fee.
Step 5: Submission and Acknowledgment
As soon as the fee payment is successful, your application will be officially submitted, and an acknowledgment receipt will be provided for your future reference.
Admit Card Download: Later, using the same login credentials, candidates will be able to download their admit cards or hall tickets for the entrance examination, which is scheduled for 20th July 2025.
