Dima Hasao Recruitment 2026
The Office of the Additional Director, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department (Hills), Assam, Haflong has invited applications for 13 Grade III and Grade IV posts, including Junior Assistant, Draftsman, Stenographer, Electrician, Boiler Attendant, Peon, and other MTS posts. The recruitment has been approved by the Dima Hasao Autonomous Council vide letters dated 2 September 2026 and 3 October 2026.
Eligible candidates can submit their applications in the Standard Form from 27 October 2026 to 26 November 2026 (up to 4:00 PM) at the office of the Additional Director in Haflong. Local candidates from Dima Hasao district will get preference.

Age Limit: 18 to 40 years as on 1 May 2026.
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST (up to 45 years), 3 years for OBC/MOBC (up to 43 years), 2 years for ex-servicemen, and 10 years for persons with disabilities (up to 50 years).
Local Preference: Local candidates of Dima Hasao district will get preference as per Govt. Circular No. HAD. 110/86/24 dated 27 August 1987.
Employment Exchange: Candidates must be registered with the Employment Exchange, and the registration number must be mentioned in the application form.
Application Fee: No fee, but an Autonomous Council Court Fee Stamp of ₹10 must be affixed with the application.

Educational Qualification
Junior Assistant: Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university, with computer typing knowledge of Word and Excel.
Draftsman: HS passed with a 2-year ITI Diploma in Draftsman (Civil) from a recognised institute.
Stenographer: Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university, a computer certificate or diploma of at least 6 months and a recognised stenography certificate.
Mohorrer: HS passed.
Electrician: HSLC passed with a 2-year ITI Diploma in Electrical from a recognised institute.
Boiler Attendant: HSLC passed with at least 2 years of experience as a Fireman, Operator, Pumpman, Waterman, Assistant Fireman or Assistant Operator on a steam boiler.
MTS Posts (Bull Attendant, Peon, Chowkidar, Animal Attendant, Cream Collector): Class VIII passed from a recognised institute.
