CRPF Recruitment 2026
The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has released an official notification for the recruitment of 9,195 Constable (Technical & Tradesmen and Pioneer) posts. Both male and female candidates who are Indian citizens and ordinarily residents of their respective States/UTs can apply. Online applications are being accepted from 20 April 2026 to 19 May 2026 through the official CRPF recruitment portal.
The recruitment will be conducted on a domicile-based pattern for Constable (Technical & Tradesmen) posts, while Constable (Pioneer) posts will be filled on an All India basis. The selection process consists of Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Computer-Based Test (CBT), Trade/Skill Test, Document Verification, and Medical Examination. The CBT will be held in English and Hindi only.
Note: Women candidates are encouraged to apply. Persons with Disabilities (PwD) are not eligible for this recruitment.

Educational Qualification: Matriculation or 10th Pass from a recognized Board. For CT (Motor Mechanic Vehicle), a 2-year ITI certificate in MMV trade with 1 year practical experience is also required. For CT (Driver), a valid Heavy Transport Vehicle (HTV) Driving License is required.
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026): 18-23 years for most trades; 21-27 years for CT (Driver). Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 3 years for Ex-Servicemen (after deduction of military service) is available. You can calculate your age here.

Since Assam does not issue a Domicile/Permanent Residence Certificate, candidates from Assam are not required to submit one. However, their selection will be subject to verification of residential status from the concerned District Authorities.
Constable (Pioneer) Vacancies
20 male vacancies are available for Pioneer Wing posts: 13 for Mason and 7 for Electrician. These will be filled on All India basis. Any candidate from any State/UT can apply for these posts.

Candidates can apply online through the official CRPF recruitment portal. Make sure you have a valid email ID, mobile number, and a recent passport-size photograph before starting the application. You can resize your photo here if needed.
Step 1: Go to the official CRPF recruitment website at rect.crpf.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the Constable (Technical & Tradesmen and Pioneer) Recruitment 2026 link.
Step 3: Complete Step-I Registration using your email ID, mobile number, and name. You will receive your login ID and password on your registered email.
Step 4: Log out and re-login to complete Step-II. Fill in personal details, address, qualification, achievement details, and the applied post.
Step 5: Upload your scanned colour passport-size photograph (50-100 KB, JPG/JPEG, 35mm x 45mm) with the date printed on it, and signature (50-100 KB, JPG/JPEG).
Step 6: Submit the application form and pay the examination fee (₹100 for General/EWS/OBC male candidates) through Net Banking, UPI, Debit/Credit Card, or CSC Wallet.
Step 7: Take a printout of the submitted application form for your records.
Note: A candidate can apply for one post each in the Technical & Tradesmen category and Pioneer category. If applying for two posts, mention your preference. Applications with blurred photographs or signatures will be rejected. Be very careful while filling in the domicile State — no changes will be allowed after submission.
