Assam HS TET Result 2021
The Secondary Education Department of Assam has released an official notification regarding the result of the written exam for those candidates who submitted their online applications for the Assam Higher Secondary TET and appeared the TET exam on 10th January 2021. The result has been declared on 22nd May 2021 and all candidates are able to check their exam results through the official website of HS TET.

Assam Higher Secondary TET 2020
The Secondary Education Department of Assam released an official notification regarding the Higher Secondary TET 2020 to recruit eligible Graduate teachers in different schools of the state. All intended candidates are able to submit their online application for this upcoming HS TET 2020. All required details to complete the online application are mentioned here.

Eligibility Criteria of Assam HS TET 2020
Educational Qualification: The candidate needs to hold a Post-Graduation degree with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from a recognized University and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a National Council for Teachers Education recognized institution, but degrees obtained from an off-campus and distance education institutions shall not be considered as valid.
Age Limit: The candidate’s minimum age must not be less than 21 years otherwise he/she will not be eligible for this HS TET. The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the School Leaving Certificate/ HSLC Admit Card/ Certificate issued by a recognized Board/Council and no other document shall be accepted in lieu of the mentioned documents.
Citizenship: The candidate must be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of Assam.
Application Fee: Candidates need to pay a specific amount of money as an application fee to complete the online application process. Details regarding this are provided below-
- General Candidates: Rs.500/-
- SC/ ST/ OBC/MOBC/ PwD Candidates: Rs.300/-

Structure of Assam Higher Secondary TET 2020
The examination shall be for 200 marks with two papers (Paper-I & Paper-II) of 200 multiple choice Questions (MCQs), each one of them carrying equal marks. The subject areas broadly are as follows.

Minimum Qualifying Marks of Assam Higher Secondary TET
To qualify for HS TET Examination the candidate must score at least 60% marks on each paper. However, 5% relaxation in marks will be given for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/MOBC/ PH candidates. The candidate whose degree of physical disability is more than 40% is only eligible to apply, under the PH category.
