The State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC) is preparing to conduct written examinations for the Assam Direct Recruitment (ADR). ADR Application Process

The application process for the Assam Direct Recruitment (ADR) was facilitated by the State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC) through an online portal. Eligible candidates had the convenience of submitting their applications directly through this portal from their preferred locations. To minimize the overlap of appointments, SLRC introduced a basic registration process this year, linking the candidates’ employment registration numbers with their application numbers, a change from the previous year’s procedure. Additionally, in a departure from past practices, SLRC decided not to charge any application fee during the application process, allowing candidates to submit their applications free of charge. Selection Process of Assam Direct Recruitment

Bachelor’s Degree Level

The commission will conduct a separate examination based on the following eligibility qualifications for each post.

Bachelor’s Degree.
Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Skills.
Bachelor’s Degree in Science.
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce.
Bachelor’s Degree with Economics/ Statistics/ Mathematics.

Stage 1 (Written Exam)

Candidates applying for graduate-level posts will be required to take a written test, which will have the following structure.

Type of Exam: Written Examination (OMR)

Duration of Exam: 2 Hours (120 Minutes)

Medium of Exam: Assamese, Bodo, English and Hindi

Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

No of Questions: 100 MCQs

Total Marks: 175 Marks

Centres of Exam: The examination centres shall be as decided by the commission depending upon the number of candidates.

Stage 2 (Skill Test)

Candidates who have submitted applications for graduate-level posts and are shortlisted based on their performance in the written test will have to undergo a skill test as the second stage of the selection process.

Total Marks: 25 Marks

Class 12th Level

The commission will conduct a separate examination based on the following eligibility qualifications for each post.

Merit List

On the basis of the marks obtained in the written examination and the interview or the skill test, a list of shortlisted candidates shall be prepared in order of merit. The commission shall determine minimum qualifying marks for computer tests/ other tests/ practical tests. Candidates securing less than the qualifying marks in the computer test/ other test/ practical test shall not be eligible for selection.
