APSC Recruitment 2025
On 13th March 2025, the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) released an official notification for the recruitment of 195 vacancies for the post of Agricultural Development Officer (ADO) under the Agriculture Department, Assam.
Eligible candidates are invited to submit their online applications within the specified deadline. Interested applicants can apply through the official web portal of the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC).

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a B.Sc. (Agriculture) degree or an equivalent qualification recognized by a recognized university and approved by the Government of Assam.
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 and 38 years of age as of 1st January 2025. However, the upper age limit is relaxable by 12 years for Ex-Servicemen, 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ST candidates, and 10 years for Persons with Disability (PwD).
Application Fee: The application fee is ₹297.20/- for General candidates, ₹197.20/- for OBC/MOBC candidates, and ₹47.20/- for SC/ST/BPL/PwBD candidates. The payment must be made through the official web portal using the available online payment methods. The payment can be made through Net Banking from any bank or using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Cards or UPI Payment.
How to Apply for APSC Recruitment?
Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria as per the official notification published by the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) can submit their online applications through the official web portal of the commission.
First-time applicants on the APSC portal must complete a One-Time Registration (OTR) process before submitting their application. Once registered, candidates can apply for any eligible recruitment available on the portal. During the application process, candidates will be required to provide personal details, educational qualifications, and other relevant information. Additionally, they must upload supporting documents, including a recent passport-size photograph and signature, in the specified digital format and file size.
