APDCL Recruitment 2024
The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has issued two official notifications regarding the recruitment of a total of 130 posts of Assistant Accounts Officer (AAO) under the Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) and Assam Electricity Grid Corporation Limited (AEGCL). Name of Post: Assistant Accounts Officer (AAO)

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks or its equivalent in B.Com in aggregate, or 55% marks in Honors/Major subject (B.Com), or a minimum of 55% aggregate marks or its equivalent for Arts or Science graduates having Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects, or 55% marks or its equivalent in Mathematics/Statistics as Honors (BA/B.Sc). For departmental candidates and those belonging to the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe, the minimum qualification mark in a bachelor’s degree is 50%.
Computer Proficiency: Candidates must possess proficiency in computer applications and have a diploma certificate in computer applications with a minimum duration of 3 (three) months.
Pay Scale: Pay Band-3, Rs.25,000 – Rs.92,000 with Grade Pay of Rs.11,000/- and other allowances as admissible under the rules.
Age Limit of APDCL Recruitment
Age Limit: The candidate’s age should not be less than 21 years and not more than 38 years as of 1st January 2024.

Citizenship: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
Residency: The candidate must be domiciled in Assam.

Small Family Norms: No person with more than two living children from single or multiple partners on or after 1st January 2021 shall be eligible for appointment as per the Government policy on Small Family Norms.
