Assam GNM Admission 2025
On 8th May 2025, the Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) has published an official notification regarding the GNM Entrance Examination (GNMEE), 2025. The GNM Entrance Examination (GNMEE), 2025 will be held for the admission into the GNM course in various medical education institutes of Assam. The students willing to take admissions into the GNM courses under the Directorate of Health Services, Assam in both government and private institutions will have to participate in this entrance examination to be conducted by the SSUHS on 13th July 2025 at various examination centres across the state.

Examination Fee: Candidates applying for the GNM Entrance Examination are required to pay a non-refundable examination fee that varies according to their category. For General category candidates, the examination fee is ₹1500/-. For candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ EWS/ OBC-NCL/MOBC categories, a reduced fee of ₹1200/- has been set.
Eligibility Criteria of GNM Admission
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess any one of the following educational qualifications to be eligible for GNM admission:
| 10+2 class passed preferably Science (PCB) and English with an aggregate of 40% marks. |
| 10+2 in Arts (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Sciences, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) and English Core/ English Elective or Health Care Science – Vocational stream ONLY, passing out from recognize Board under AISSCE/ CBSE/ ICSE/ SSCE or other equivalent Board with 40% marks. |
| 10+2 vocational ANM under CBSE Board or other equivalent Board from the school and recognized by Indian Nursing Council with 40% marks. |
| Registered as ANM with the State Nursing Registration Council. |
Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 17 years old by 31st December 2025, and the maximum age for admission is 35 years. There is no age limit for RANM/RLHV.
How to Apply for SSUHS GNM Admission?
Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria as per the official notification from the Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences will be able to submit their applications through the official web portal. During the online application process, candidates will need to provide their basic personal details, educational qualifications, and upload their photograph and signature to complete the application process.
At the final stage of the application process, candidates will need to pay the applicable examination fee to submit their applications.
