Educational Qualification: Graduate in Arts, Science & Commerce with Economics/ Statistics/ Mathematics as one of the subjects at degree level.
Desirable Qualification: Diploma in Computer Application.
Pay Scale: Pay Band 2, Rs.14,000-70,000/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.7,400/- per month.
Other Details of DWCD Recruitment
Age Limit: The candidate’s age should range between 21 years and 40 years as of 1st January 2024.
Age Relaxation: Category-wise upper age relaxation will be provided as follows:

Note: For the purpose of determining the age limit, the SLPRB will accept only the date of birth recorded in the Admit Card/ Certificate of HSLC or equivalent examination issued by a recognized education Board. No other documents relating to age such as horoscopes, affidavits, birth extracts from Municipal Corporations, service records and the like will be accepted.
Nationality: Candidates must be Indian Citizens and permanent residents of Assam.
Employment Exchange: Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
Application Fee: There will be no application fee for all the categories of candidates. Candidates are not required to pay the application fee for submission of their online applications.

Selection Procedure of DWCD Recruitment
Candidates whose applications are accepted will need to appear in an OMR-based objective type written test. The venue and date for the test will be notified later through local newspapers and the official website.
Syllabus
The Syllabus of the OMR-based Objective Type Written Test for each position will be as follows:

Skill Test
Candidates who qualify in the OMR-based Objective Type Written Test will be called for a Computer Skill Test, which will carry 25 marks. The candidates selected for the skill test will be in a ratio of 1:4 based on their merit in the written test, taking into account the reservation policy.
Verification of Original Documents
Candidates who qualify through the selection process must attend the verification process. During verification, candidates are required to bring their original testimonials along with a set of self-attested photocopies. The schedule for producing original documents will be communicated to the candidates later, specifying the date, time, and venue for the verification process.
