NIACL Recruitment 2025

On 16 December 2024, the New India Assurance Company Limited (NIACL) announced an official notification for the recruitment of 500 Assistant posts. Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official NIACL web portal. The online application process will commence on 17 December 2024. Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Additionally, candidates should have passed English as one of the subjects at the SSC, HSC, Intermediate, or Graduation level. A valid certificate proving the qualification must be available as of 1 December 2024.

Language Proficiency: Candidates must have proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the Regional Language of the State/UT for which they are applying. To verify this, a Regional Language Test will be conducted before the final selection. Candidates who fail to demonstrate proficiency in the test will be disqualified.

Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 and 30 years of age as of 1 December 2024.

Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates, 5 years for ST candidates, and 10 years for PwD candidates. For detailed information, candidates are advised to refer to the official notification.

Application Fee: The applicable application fee is ₹100/- for candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PwBD categories and ₹850/- for all other candidates. The fee can be paid online through the payment gateway using a Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

NIACL Selection Process

The selection process for NIACL Assistant Recruitment 2024 is a multi-tiered process designed to ensure that only the most qualified candidates are selected. It consists of three stages: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and the Regional Language Test. Below are the details:

1. Preliminary Examination (Tier I)

The Preliminary Examination is an online objective test worth 100 marks, conducted for a duration of 1 hour. It consists of three sections:

The Main Examination is an online objective test worth 250 marks, conducted over 2 hours. It consists of five sections:

The Regional Language Test assesses the candidates’ proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the regional language of the State/UT they are applying for. This test is qualifying in nature, and no separate marks are awarded.

Note: Candidates failing the Regional Language Test will be disqualified. The final selection is based on the performance in the Main Examination, subject to qualifying in the Regional Language Test.

Final Selection

Merit List: The final merit list is prepared state-wise and category-wise in descending order of marks secured in the Main Examination, provided the candidate qualifies for the Regional Language Test.

Tie-Breaking Criteria: In case of a tie, the candidate senior in age will be given preference.
