Post-wise Eligibility Criteria
AAO (Generalist): Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institution.
AE (Civil): B.Tech/B.E. (Civil) from an AICTE recognized institution. A minimum of three years of post-qualification work experience is required.
AE (Electrical): B.Tech/B.E. (Electrical) from an AICTE recognized institution. A minimum of three years of post-qualification work experience is required.
AAO (Chartered Accountant): Bachelor’s Degree and must have passed the Final Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and be an Associate member of the institute.
AAO (Company Secretary): Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university and must be a Qualified Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
AAO (Actuarial): Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline. Candidates must have passed at least 6 papers of the examination conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India / Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK.
AAO (Insurance Specialist): Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline and a professional qualification of Fellowship of Insurance Institute of India (Life), with a minimum of 5 years of work experience in a Life Insurance Company.
AAO (Legal): Bachelor’s degree in Law with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD). Essential experience includes being enrolled with the Bar Council as an Advocate and at least two years of relevant experience.
Pay Scale / Salary
Selected candidates will receive a basic pay of ₹88,635 per month in the scale of ₹88635- 4385(14)-150025–4750(4) −169025. Total emoluments at the minimum of the scale, including allowances, will be approximately ₹1,26,000 per month in an ‘A’ Class city.
Age Limit and Relaxation
The candidate’s age will be calculated as of 1 August 2025.
Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age: 30 years (for Generalist, AE, CS, Actuarial, Insurance Specialist). Candidates should not have been born earlier than 2 August 1995 and not later than 1 August 2004.
Maximum Age: 32 years (for AAO-CA and AAO-Legal). Candidates should not have been born earlier than 2 August 1993 and not later than 1 August 2004.
Age Relaxation: Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable for reserved category candidates as per government rules:

Selection Process

Guarantee Bond
Before joining, selected candidates must give an undertaking to serve LIC for a minimum period of four years (including the probationary period). Failing to do so will make them liable to pay liquidated damages of ₹5,00,000.
