On 4th April 2025, the Central Selection Board, Bodoland Territorial Council has released an official notification regarding the recruitment of 569 vacancies across various departments in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR). Of the total 569 vacancies, there are 295 vacancies for Grade-III posts and 275 vacancies for Grade-IV posts. Online applications from eligible candidates are being invited for these vacancies under several departments including PWD, Education, Forest, Irrigation, Sericulture, Skill Employment & Entrepreneurship, Information & Public Relations, and Agriculture Department. Educational Qualification
LDA/Jr. Assistant/Statistical Assistant/Computer Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum 1-year diploma in computer from a recognized Institution.
Internal Auditor: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
Library Assistant: Bachelor’s degree with a diploma in Library Science.
Store Keeper: Bachelor’s degree with computer diploma or ITI certification with relevant experience.
Agricultural Extension Assistant, Field Assistant, Primary Investigator, and Grafter: Minimum HS (Arts/Science/Commerce).
Surveyor: Minimum 12th pass with a certificate in Draftsmanship from a recognized Institution.
Field Man and Power Sprayer & Duster Operator: HS with Certificate/Diploma in Industrial Training.
I&PR: HSLC with technical certification or practical experience.
Grade-IV Posts: Candidates should have a minimum of Class VIII passed and a maximum of Class XII passed.

Other Details of BTC Recruitment
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 40 years of age as of 1st January 2025. The upper age relaxation will be as per the government rules.
Residency: Candidates must be permanent residents of the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) of Assam.
Exchange Registration: All applicants must have an active registration with any Employment Exchange office in Assam.
Application Fee: The application fee is ₹350/- for General/ OBC/MOBC candidates, and ₹250/- for SC/ST candidates. The payment must be made through the official web portal using the available online payment methods. The payment can be made through Net Banking from any bank or using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Cards or UPI Payment.
Selection Process
The applicants will have to participate in a written examination of 2 hours duration containing 80 marks and an oral interview of 20 marks. These two examinations will play a key role in selecting eligible candidates for the vacancies. The selection will be based on the performance in these two exams.
