Assam, a state of India which is situated in North-Eastern side of India. Recently, after an order from Supreme Court, Election Commission of Assam is going to conduct an election to choose Panchayat & ZPC level workers. Panchayat Election 2018 of Assam will be conducted in two phases 1st phase election will be conducted on 5th December 2018 and 2nd phase will be conducted on 9th December 2018. In 1st phase election 16 districts of Assam will be covered and for 2nd phase other 10 districts. Election Commision of Assam also announces the date of counting of votes which is 12th December 2018 in other words 3 days after 2nd phase election. In this Panchayat Election of Assam 23,505 booths for casting vote will be established. Currently, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is ruling government of Assam.
