In ADRE 3.0, there is a high possibility of a change in exam pattern, as last year, at the end minute, it was decided to conduct exams in two phases – Preliminary and Main, but after huge protest and not being included in the initial notification, the government reversed the decision and stuck to the original notified way of examination. But this year, there is a high possibility that the ADRE 3.0 written exams will be conducted in two phases. The initial phase will be a preliminary stage where objective questions might be asked, and the main phase will have a more comprehensive and detailed examination, excluding MCQs. But, as of now, this is only a prediction as official notification has not been published by the SLRC.

2. Skill Test, Driving Test, or Oral Test

The candidates who qualify their respective Assam Direct Recruitment Examinations conducted by the State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC) will be called for skill test, driving test, or oral test. This test will be conducted based on the post type. Candidates who have submitted applications for Grade-III vacancies may have to appear in the Computer Skill Test, Stenography Test, Driving Skill Test, as well as the oral interview, as it completely depends on the post type for which the application has been submitted and qualified. On the other hand, there will be an oral interview of the shortlisted candidates for the Grade-III vacancies.
